I would like to talk for a moment, if I may, about ironing. It is a task that I am faced with on an almost weekly basis. I have not yet decided if I enjoy it or not. All I know is that it takes a long time to do very little. For example, my trousers have taken me the best part of 45 minutes to iron. Apparently, they’re not meant to have three separate creases at the front of the left leg. Nor are they supposed to shine after being ironed. Thankfully, the latter problem has been encountered before and never since. The former problem is the one which got me this time. It is now sorted, but it took some careful planning and manouvering.
It is a nice thing to see that I’ve got four shirts already ironed in my cupboard. This is one weeks worth of work shirts. Thank goodness for dress down fridays!
